Debra is feeling significantly better today. All of the pacemaker/defibrillator tests were successful and the device is functioning as intended.
Debra’s cardiac output (blood pumping to vital organs) is extremely low and will require further testing, which will be performed over the next few weeks as an outpatient. She remains optimistic and happy, despite all she has been through.
We are awaiting final sign-off for discharge and heading home later today. Debra is anxious to get back to work, be reunited with Bella, and of course, shoe shopping online.
